Well the weekend is over (and I really should be getting some rest about now), but I just wanted to mention a few things.
I had a great day yesterday. Dance class at
Broadway Dance Center, which, as you may know, is my latest fun thing to do (I'm not shocking anyone there with my talent but I'm having a great time and getting a great workout), followed by a trip to the
Queens Theatre in the Park, where I saw a new musical called
108 Waverly before having a nice dinner with friends back here in Manhattan.
I'm really glad that I got to see
108 Waverly, which was interesting and featured some great performances.
And it's always great to spend time with friends.
Today I came
this close to seeing the matinee of
By Jeeves (by means of TKTS) but ended up having lunch and strolling around SoHo before seeing
The Rocky Horror Show yet again.
Rocky was particularly great tonight (and not just because I had managed (a while back) to get wonderful seats for the show). The energy level was high and the cast was really just having fun with it. It was Robin Leach's last day as guest host, and he seemed to be having a whale of a time too.
Oh and I always enjoy seeing the lovely Jonathan Sharp.
Did I say that out loud? Well I do think he's lovely. And such a great dancer.
So there:-)
But on that note, I should probably go.
