I guess it has been a while (too long by far) since I have last blogged, but perhaps I can try to make more entries this year.

My main reason for blogging right now, though, is to link to my new page of vacation photos (and somewhat inane accompanying narrative)

I'll try to add more very soon.

I just wanted to mention that the delightful Anthony Rapp is going to be a part of the Macy's puppet show.

Well the weekend is over (and I really should be getting some rest about now), but I just wanted to mention a few things.

I had a great day yesterday. Dance class at Broadway Dance Center, which, as you may know, is my latest fun thing to do (I'm not shocking anyone there with my talent but I'm having a great time and getting a great workout), followed by a trip to the Queens Theatre in the Park, where I saw a new musical called 108 Waverly before having a nice dinner with friends back here in Manhattan.

I'm really glad that I got to see 108 Waverly, which was interesting and featured some great performances.

And it's always great to spend time with friends.

Today I came this close to seeing the matinee of By Jeeves (by means of TKTS) but ended up having lunch and strolling around SoHo before seeing The Rocky Horror Show yet again.

Rocky was particularly great tonight (and not just because I had managed (a while back) to get wonderful seats for the show). The energy level was high and the cast was really just having fun with it. It was Robin Leach's last day as guest host, and he seemed to be having a whale of a time too.

Oh and I always enjoy seeing the lovely Jonathan Sharp.

Did I say that out loud? Well I do think he's lovely. And such a great dancer.

So there:-)

But on that note, I should probably go.

I'm really quite tired now, so this may not make a whole lot of sense, but I wanted to keep on blogging.

Tonight (well, last night -- I'm sure the trend here will continue to be that I post when it is technically the day after the day that I am describing) I saw 45 Seconds from Broadway. It wasn't really my thing, but I really do like to see everything at least once so I was happy that someone got me a ticket. And although it wasn't really my thing, there were people sitting near me who were clearly having a great time (as evidenced by their guffaws), so the show has an audience.

Oh and Conan did a second Dudez A-Plenti piece tonight (oh, how I wish there were a link for that one!). I really did laugh out loud...

Well I sure hope that this counts as soon!

I suppose I should mention that tonight I saw tick, tick...BOOM! at the beautiful Jane Street Theatre, where I spent many happy evenings watching Hedwig in its stage incarnation.

This was only (only!) my second time seeing the show, and my first time seeing Joey McIntyre and Natascia Diaz in it. And I loved it -- even more than before. Maybe it's the mood that I'm in right now, maybe it's the fact that I know the music better now...but it just really seemed to work today. It's still strange hearing RENT-like tones in some of the songs, but still strange in a good way. Oh, and I thought that the song "Therapy" just worked fantastically well tonight. And that the casting worked surprisingly well.

But alas, the little gummi bears that appeared on the sidewalk leading to the Jane shortly before Hedwig closed now really seem to have disappeared...
Welcome!

This is my new blog. I hope to add a little more content very soon.
